M. Robert Burman
Robert, an industry icon, founded the Matworks in 1966 to provide entrance systems in the Baltimore-Washington Metro area. Today, he is responsible for the growth of the company, overall strategy and mentoring. Robert is known as an innovator for developing new flooring materials and pioneering ROI risk management via entrance systems.
Robert (Rip) B. Collins, Jr.
CEO & President
Rip joined the Matworks in 2003 and has elevated the success and profile of the company by expanding the product line and improving the day-to-day operations to benefit customers and employees. In previous roles, Rip was responsible for management, sales, marketing and operations with Nestle Beverage, Campbell Soup, Vlassic Foods and Newview Technologies. Rip holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Renesselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a graduate of Harvard Business School.
Lisa Loeffler
Lisa joined The Matworks in 2016 as the Chief Financial Officer. She is well rounded in every aspect of Operations and the Financial Management of the business including but not limited to Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Auditing, Finance and Accounting. Lisa has diverse experience in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, medical, government, warehousing and logistics. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Leadership and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore which shows her home town commitment to both on her education and career.
Mary Anne Vitty
Executive Vice President
Mary Anne Vitty joined The Matworks in 1983. She has held numerous key positions within the Finance, Account Management, Sales and Sales Management divisions. In her present role, Mary Anne oversees the company’s National Retail Accounts and the Consumer Product Division. She is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Huseyin Koca
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Huseyin joined the Matworks in 2015. In less than a year, he was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing and became responsible for the entire Sales & Marketing strategy of the company. He has a background in Mechanical Engineering and is working towards his MBA in Finance. He is really excited to be able to utilize his analytical skills and strategic vision to develop The Matworks' sales and marketing strategic business plans to drive revenue and increase market share efforts. Huseyin is an exemplary leader, always leading by example and with a positive attitude.
Dennis Peterson
Director of Project Management
Dennis joined the Matworks in 1993 as the Operations Manager and was initially responsible for managing all warehousing and production functions. As the company grew and diversified, Dennis assumed the management duties for the Installation and Customer Service Departments, bringing a unique approach that combined the best practices from each segment. Since then, Dennis has redirected his years of experience and assumed the leadership role of the Project Management Department. In this role Dennis is able to utilize his technical and product knowledge along with customer-related experience to ensure programs are custom tailored to suit each client’s particular needs.
Ken Blackwelder
Vice President of Operations
Ken’s has more than 20 years experience in OEM environments from consumer goods to heavy equipment manufacturing. Ken utilizes a systemic and analytical approach to ensure best practices in the industry relating to customer service, quality and on-time deliveries are delivered to valued customers. Ken’s background in the OEM environment enables the company to provide a superior product at competitive prices through improved processes, modernization of equipment and a continuous improvement mindset.
Steve Henneman
General Manager, Consumer Products
Steve possesses over fourteen years of progressive experience in the consumer packaged goods market and is working to expand the Matworks overall consumer-based product portfolio. Prior to joining the Matworks team, Steve held senior level product management and marketing roles with Newell Rubbermaid, DAP Products and STX. Steve graduated from Towson University with a degree in Advertising and resides in Baltimore with his wife and son.
Jared Agan
Vice President of Operations and General Manager, TEC Cleaning Division
Jared has more than ten years of experience in healthcare operations for top tier hospitals in the Mid-Atlantic region. He has a proven track record of successful management of time sensitive, complex projects. Jared holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Shippensburg University and an MBA in Executive Leadership from Wesley College. Jared currently resides in Pennsylvania with his family.
Carl Blackburn
Vice President of Product Development
Carl began with The Matworks as the VP of Operations and has moved to Product Development to focus on bringing new and innovative products to our customers. He brings expertise in lean manufacturing, six sigma and continuous improvement, as well as project management for new product development. He has held a variety of positions in manufacturing, engineering, and quality with companies including Honeywell and L3 Communications. Carl is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
